How about the album of the year 1972 'Argus' by Wishbone Ash. Surely one of the best guitar bands never to have a Lick Library Lesson.

Thin Lizzy "Jailbreak" 1976 Arguably the most solid album this group every did. Starting off with the title track, the band really smokes and makes everything count. The Boys Are Back In Town was a hit single for them, but I feel that Cowboy Song may be the best track on this album.

Track listing:

  1. "Jailbreak" Phil Lynott 4:01
  2. "Angel from the Coast" Phil Lynott, Brian Robertson 3:03
  3. "Running Back" Lynott 3:13
  4. "Romeo and the Lonely Girl" Lynott 3:55
  5. "Warriors" Lynott, Scott Gorham 4:09
  6. "The Boys Are Back in Town" Lynott 4:27
  7. "Fight or Fall" Lynott 3:45
  8. "Cowboy Song" Lynott, Brian Downey 5:16
  9. "Emerald" Lynott, Robertson, Downey, Gorham 4:03

I´d like to see some courses about Canadian band SAGA. Albums: "SAGA", "Images at Twilight", Worlds Apart" or "Silent Knight". Also single songs like On the Loose, Humble Stance, Don´t Be Late, Wind Him Up, How Long, The Flyer. In that cases I would a good idea to combine guitar with some interesting keyboard parts.

Montrose first release

An album that influenced many guitarists. a big influence on EVH I had this a cassette as a teen and played it so often the ink with song titles wore off. One time the cassette fell apart and I rewound it and inadvertently flipped sides A & B. I got the opportunity to see Ronnie Montrose perform in a small venue setting just a short time before he passed...
