Mike, two questions-

  1. Do you know if there is any local parking?

  2. Will guitars be available to use in the master classes as it may be a nuisance travelling with a guitar if having to use public transport (if theres no local parking)?

Hi Mark,

Here's the website for the venue which has the travel and parking details.

More details regarding guitars will be available, the venue is however right across the road from the nearest Tube Station also.

There is Pay & Display parking but not sure how much and what it will cost for the day.

We are likely to be exchanging your e-tickets for wrist bands on arrival at the venue so you can pop out at any time and get back in - so you can grab lunch and so forth (as its a fairly long day).

If there's anything else give me a shout!

Hi Cheryl,

For those about to Rock... please don't forget those that can't attend. Please record the highlights and let the rest of the world enjoy seeing Mike, Jamie, Danny, Andy and Stuart perform. Maybe you can record some of the Master Classes, edit and sell them as DVD's. I'm sure there will be some very good advice, techniques, exercises etc. that many of us would pay to have.

Thanks,

Raser

Just an update for you guys. I had a chat with Kim this morning about the Guitaraoke session and we agreed we're going to have a fab prize for the best jam entrant!

A few weeks before we'll have a selection of Jamtracks available on the site for you to pick, choose and prepare your best solo to perform a jam onstage with one of the LickLibrary artists! (Andy James, Danny Gill, Stuart Bull, Jamie Humphries and Michael Casswell). The best performance voted by the audience and the Licklibrary team will be named the winner - more details will be available closer to the sign.... but you'll have to be there for your chance to win!

Tickets are going fast so grab yours £15 (and you get a free DVD) at www.licklibrary.com/live.

You can now book Masterclasses at a later late if you can't decide now which one you want to sign up for. More details on each of the Masterclass is coming soon.

If you're on Facebook we have an event page for you to RSVP to, and we'll be updating that and taking questions there too! [strong]head here.[/strong]

Cheryl,

There are one or two LL DVDs I was thinking of getting but before I do I was wondering are there going to be any special offers at the LL Live event? if so it may be worth waiting.

Hi Mark,

At present there is no plans for a special offer at the event, its more about the event itself.

I will try to make it happen - Cheryl - for the people from abroad, do you have hotel close to the venue, maybe also with a LL agreement?

Hi Reiner

We don't have any hotel agreements I'm afraid, but the venue is easy to get to on the Underground trains.

Hi Cheryl,

Quick question about the master classes. Will it be interactive or will it be more of a Q&A session?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to see whether I would benefit from bringing my own guitar, or whether the classes are a chance to watch and ask questions?

Thanks

Hi Peter,

The masterclasses will focus on the subjects (see the individual lesson) that the tutors are preparing but you will be able to ask questions, I'm a little confused by your question as a Q&A session would make it interactive....

The classes are designed (and in a room big enough) to cater for you to bring your guitar if you wish, also if you want to participate in the Guitaraoke contest jam in the main event you'll need your guitar.

More details for the masterclasses will be sent out to those who've signed up a few days before just to confirm everything also - alot of the classes are getting close to be full.

hope that helps
