Upcoming LickLibrary DVDs (updated nov 6th)

Levi Clay posted this 06 November 2015

So, due to popular demand, I'm going to do my best to keep you up to date with all upcoming LickLibrary DVD's I'm aware of!

The reason this hasn't been kept active in recent years is that products end up getting shelved or things out of our control end up making us look bad. As an example, we announced the Eric Johnson DVD and had a planned release window for it, we didn't want it to delay, but Rick Graham came into problems that were his, we never wanted that to happen, and we didn't want to rush it. Looking back, the best thing to do there would be to not mention it until it's being edited! So some projects I'm aware of.... but I won't tell you until they're real close! Deal?

Learn To Play Ed Sheeran

I'm not sure on the track list, but it's a Danny Gill DVD

Learn To Play Joe Walsh

Another Danny project, I'll check on track listings with him

Learn To Play Extreme

Nuno has been criminally left out from our products, so we've got George Marios working on it!

Learn To Play Chuck Berry 2

Lee Hodgson returns for some Chuck Berry!

Learn To Play BB King

Another Lee project paying tribute to one of the greats

51 Bebop Licks You Must Know - Tom Quayle

51 Technical Shred Licks You Must Know - Sam Bell

51 Extreme Tapping Licks You Must Know - Richard Duade

Contemporary Slide Guitar - Levi Clay

Foundation Alternate Picking - Sam Bell

Quick Licks Richie Kotzen - Jamie Humphries

Nothing against lee as a guitarist hes very good country player but he does like to babble on and before you even get half way through your nearly alseep.i was hoping danny would do bb king.and lets have more steve trovato good teacher he did good job with chuck berry vol 1 but saying that its good you got a bb king dvd out there.

Levi i didnt know you played slide good luck with sonny landreth i know mike would have liked this one too.theres quite a good mix of dvds out there now.

Watching sam play that guy can shred his alternative picking.

Yeah i think last project he did was learn to play journey.but isnt he meant to be working on jeff beck vol 2 and i heard him mention on his thread a john mayer dvd a while back. Although nothing is set in stone there is it,but hope he comes back soon with some more ltp material.

Do you have any ltp dvds levi in future you are doing with lick library?

I'm excited about Tom's bebop dvd. I'll keep an eye out for the release date and purchase that one right away. I hope he cites the origins of the licks so we can reference the source tunes. If there are no legal restrictions on that, could you pass that along as a request? I'm expecting (hoping for) at least a few legato'd Charlie Parker or other sax licks which would be very cool.

I'm not really much of a slide enthusiast, but Your dvd's are always top notch so I'll give it a go.

George teaching Nuno and Jamie teaching Kotzen are both perfect choices of instructors. I'm looking forward to them.

Lol Dave I know what you mean about Lee, you can have 2 birthdays before he gets down to teaching the actual song!

I hop Mike gets back on board he has produced some great LTPs over the years, we need more of the LTP series back.

Why don't lick library make some learn to play lessons from bands like Disturbed, Three Days Grace, Staind, The offspring, Tool and another Judas Priest. Joe Walsh is great, glad to hear he is coming out soon. Since you like bringing out the oldies how about a Blackfoot dvd.
